It's simple to open your account with AcceleRate Financial, you can phone (204) 954-9543 or toll free 1-888-954-9543 and a Member Services Representative will mail your account opening package to you or you can download the required documents.

  • Complete all necessary forms from the appropriate product area
  • Be sure to read our Terms and Conditions so you will be familiar with AcceleRate Financial policies
  • Due to legislative requirements the * (asterisk) indicates a required field. Be sure to complete all required fields prior to submitting your forms to AcceleRate Financial
  • Your initial deposit must be in the form of a personal cheque payable to AcceleRate Financial. The cheque must be drawn on a Canadian financial institution and must be in Canadian funds
  • Your name and address must appear on the cheque
  • If this is a joint account, please ensure both names appear on the cheque and the cheque is signed as per your bank's requirements, one signature or two. If you do not have a joint account, two cheques are required, one from each signer. This is a requirement for each individual applying to be a signer on the account due to the implementation of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act. If you do not have a chequing account, call our Member Services Support Centre for further details
  • For either type of account, single or joint, please be sure all necessary information is completed. Be sure the bottom of the application form is dated and signed by the appropriate number of signers where indicated
  • Be sure that the signature or signatures on the application form matches the signature or signatures on the personal cheque. You must be consistent with your signature as it is a form of identification.

Once we receive your signed application form(s) along with your personal cheque, and you have met all requirements your account will be opened with AcceleRate Financial. A Welcome Letter will be sent which will include your account number, receipt for your deposit and deposit envelopes for future deposits to AcceleRate Financial. Personalized cheques if ordered will be included with your Welcome Letter.

If you choose any of our service options, they will be mailed to you in separate mailings.
